The Company

ILS is a private company, founded over 13 years ago. Our services are Person Centred in that we believe we should work with people to promote independence within the community. Our office network is spread across Scotland to manage these services, from the Highlands and Islands, to the North East in Aberdeenshire, across the Central Belt and to the South West including North, South and East Ayrshire and in the Scottish Borders.

ILS works with four key service groups

In each case we tailor our care provision to meet the needs of each Service Users and we do this in partnership, to ensure that they are in control of their own life and able to live as independently as possible.

What makes ILS different?

Our origins: ILS has worked for over 13 years across Scotland, in partnership with Local Authorities and because our origins are in these services we have an understanding of the challenges faced by our customers and services users.

Our People: We look to work with people who go the extra mile for Service Users and this is recognised in our latest Service User Satisfaction Surveys in that over 96% ranked their ILS staff as Very Good or Excellent.

Our development: We work in partnership with Local Authorities and Regulatory bodies to continue to develop services and increase the quality of our work. We have committed over £1 million of investment funds in the last year alone to develop our service quality.

Our knowledge: Working across a number of services areas with Local Authority partners, Health Boards and also providing Private Care has led us to obtain an enviable breadth of knowledge and expertise in the Care sector that is balanced with a wealth of knowledge from specialist colleagues from different sectors.

Our approach: ILS focuses on working in partnership. We focus on relationships and believe that building good relationships with our customers, Service Users and others is the most important thing that we do.
